Apple iOS 5 is expected to be the operating system of the new iPad 2 HD.

IPad HD won’t be the iPad 3. Apple’s newest operating system, iOS 5, which is set to launch in September. iOS 5 brings more than 200 new features, including Notification Center, iMessage, Twitter, Newsstand, enhanced photo functions. The display is said to be double resolution and will sit at 2048 x 1536.

The iPad HD will not be a full-blown successor to the iPad 2. This will be a more higher end than the iPad and will be aimed at video and photo production

Project Natal Microsoft’s new hands-free gaming control system Technology. This technology is considered very important for Microsoft as it seeks to make different between the Xbox from Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Nintendo’s Wii. The Project Natal has generated more hype than any announcement the console gaming industry has seen in years. It could be years before we see the first product that resembles the Natal in stores.

Microsoft’s much-anticipated Project Natal hands-free gaming control system could hit store shelves as soon as November 2010 and it would cost as little as $50. Microsoft has been demoting the tech and detailing its 2010 plans in order to spur more development support.

British games magazine MCV said that it had been told by a publishing source that Microsoft is trying to get as close as possible to impulse buy with Natal. British games magazine MCV also said that Microsoft could launch Natal with a 5 million unit global shipment.
